A lo largo de su carrera profesional ha desempe\u00f1ado diferentes cargos de responsabilidad entre los que destaca el de presidente del C\u00edrculo de Bellas Artes de Madrid y el de Director General de la Escuela T\u00e9cnica Superior de Arquitectura de Madrid. Adem\u00e1s dirige las revistas <em>Pasaje de Arquitectura y Cr\u00edtica<\/em> e <em>Iluminaciones<\/em> y es director cient\u00edfico de la colecci\u00f3n de <em>Textos de Arquitectura<\/em>.
