SPARK is a growing, young, dynamic development NGO with 80 staff members in offices in Amsterdam, Belgrade, Bujumbura, Juba, Kigali, Monrovia, Mitrovica, Pristina and Ramallah. SPARK develops higher education and entrepreneurship, so that young ambitious people are empowered to lead their post-conflict society into prosperity.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

SPARK is achieving its mission by organizing business plan competitions, business skills training, SME coaching & mentoring, business incubation, SME financing, intensive higher vocational summer courses, curriculum development and quality assurance at universities and higher vocational education institutions. <\/span><\/span><\/h3>\n

SPARK is currently looking for: 6 visiting professors<\/strong><\/span><\/span><\/h3>\n

Mitrovica Sumer University 2013 <\/strong>(MSU13) is a two-week academic programme that brings together regional and international professors and students with aim to introduce students in Mitrovica to recent developments in the field of European Integration and higher education and to support integration of students and professors in regional and international academic networks. The MSU13, comprising six intensive courses followed with cultural excursions, a recreational programme, as well as public debates on prominent issues in society, will be held from the 19th <\/sup>of July until the 2nd<\/sup> of August, 2013. <\/strong>The MSU13 courses are conceived to be taught by six teams each consisted of a visiting professor, a local professor and an assistant.<\/span><\/h3>\n

Enthusiastic visiting professors who would like to lecture during the MSU13 can apply to teach and submit a course proposal for one of the following topics:<\/span><\/h3>\n

1.\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 European Human Rights Advocacy;<\/span><\/h3>\n

2.\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 Information Literacy Tools in Formal and Informal Education; <\/span><\/h3>\n

3.\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 Entrepreneurship – from basics to innovation;<\/span><\/h3>\n

4.\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 Cultural Heritage and Diversity;<\/span><\/h3>\n

5.\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 Environmental protection and hazardous materials;<\/span><\/h3>\n

6.\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 Cultural and national contacts in Modern British-American Literature.<\/span><\/h3>\n

Deadline for application is the 15th<\/sup> of May, 2013<\/strong>. The MSU team may decide to extend the deadline. If so, information will be posted on www.my-program.org<\/a>.\u00a0<\/span><\/h3>\n
